About Us

Hi, I’m Meghan. Designer, Sewer, and Owner of Bebe Bird Shop. I am a wife and mother of twin boys. I am also an elementary teacher, something I am equally passionate about. I strive to make products that are aesthetically appealing, functional and do not break the bank.

My son Kade is my inspiration behind the business. He was diagnosed recently with Autism at 2 1/2, along with global developmental delays—all of his milestones he met were acquired on his own schedule. However, no matter his limitations he is always there to greet me with a smile.

Kade has a very demanding schedule, where we have someone in our home 5 days a week for various therapies—sometimes two or more therapists a day. I am so thankful that I am able to be present during these sessions. After hours of therapy he started to walk a little after he turned 2. We are still waiting for more words but I would not be able to do this without the support I receive from this business. His therapists have stated that he is making so much progress. The money used from the shop helps pay for Kade’s various medical expenses. He has to see various medical specialists (orthopedist, ophthalmologist, developmental pediatrician), as well as use special tools/toys to enhance his gross motor, fine motor, cognitive and speech skills.

Seeing all of your babies wearing our top knots, drool bibs, classic bibs and swaddles makes me so joyful. I could not do this without the support of my husband, my family and friends. I am very appreciative for all the love and support. I hope you and your little one love our products as much as we do!
